Hawaii Pacific Health Nurse Practitioner - Pulmonology in Honolulu, Hawaii

Job Description

The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi‘olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state’s largest health care providers. Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.

The Pulmonary Clinic in conjunction with the Respiratory Care department provides quality therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care for our patients with acute chronic cardiopulmonary disorders. Our team is composed of physicians, pulmonologists and other health care professionals who work together to diagnose and treat diseases of the chest and lungs with an emphasis on treating asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease and respiratory failure. Our staff performs computer-based pulmonary physiology studies, bronchoscopies, bronchial provocation testing, and exercise oxygen desaturation studies. The department also has a complete computer-based pulmonary function lab.

If you enjoy working with people and believe in warm, compassionate health care, you could be our next Nurse Practitioner in our Pulmonology department. In this role, you will deliver direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment and technical procedures to a specific group of patients, as well as provide health education, referrals to other disciplines, and consultation with other allied health personnel. We are looking for someone dedicated and experienced, with excellent care and communication skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current Hawai‘i Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years nursing experience in related field.
