Job Description The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi‘olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state’s largest health care providers. Kaua‘i Medical Clinic combines the intimacy of a neighborhood clinic with the resources of Hawai‘i’s largest multi-specialty medical group. The clinic currently has 88 physicians and more than 20 medical specialties. It provides the majority of primary and secondary care to Kaua‘i’s residents, serving as the most comprehensive medical practice on the island. Combined with the resources and financial strength of Hawai‘i Pacific Health, a multi-hospital and medical group system, we offer the benefits of working within a group practice. The main clinic is located on our affiliated Wilcox Medical Center campus, a modern 71-bed community hospital, and there are also three primary care satellite clinics in other locations around the island. Our family physicians are devoted to providing personal, comprehensive and continuing care for people of all ages in the context of the family and the community. As the Physician Assistant, you will gain invaluable experience and insight as part of our professional physician team while performing a variety of patient care activities related to the treatment of injured patients in the Family Medicine department. We are looking for someone motivated and driven, with outstanding patient care and communication skills, ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.
