Job Description

Position

The Hawai'i Pacific Health Medical Group is seeking a board eligible or certified Radiologist to work full-time as a General Radiologist at Wilcox Medical Center on the island of Kauai. Neuroradiology subspecialty training, ability to interpret mammography, and perform routine procedures is preferred.

Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.

Wilcox Medical Center, located in Lihue, Kauai, is home to the only MRI and 320-slice CT scanner on Kauai. Our radiology group is comprised of 5 full-time radiologists and one half-time radiologist. We are a collegial team and are always available to consult with each other on difficult cases. We also provide radiology services for the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital, located in Waimea.

Teleradiology covers the hospital from 5pm to 7am daily.

Requirements

The candidate must have an M.D. or D.O. degree, be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology and eligible for HI state medical licensure. Ability to interpret mammography and perform routine procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis, fluoroscopic joint injections and lumbar puncture, and CT or US guided biopsies) is preferred.
